George Skelcher came up with the idea for the Lucky Beggar Coin purse after seeing people use the typical NY coffee deli coffee cup to panhandle on the Bowery (an area in downtown NY). You can use his leather version (w/zipper) for your spare change. You can look stylish and clever while also know that at the same time, you are also doing some good: part of the proceeds of each purse sold are donated to HELP USA, an organization that has helped the homeless since 1986. Comes in a little box with George’s story inside- $34.
