I love cooking, almost as much as I love eating– so when I heard about this new book, Blood, Bones and Butter, from Gabrielle Hamilton I jumped to buy it (I also had read an excerpt– the beginning actually– of it in The New Yorker and loved it!). Gabrielle Hamilton is the chef/owner of Prune, a wonderful restaurant in the East Village and her book is about her “Inadvertent Education of a Reluctant Chef.” You can’t go wrong when Anthony Bourdain says it’s, “Magnificent. Simply the best memoir by a chef ever. Ever.” Blood, Bones and Butter- $26.
