We’re not KIDO-ing! GREAT new Kid Stuff Part I

We just got a giant shipment from one of our favorite vendors for the little ones in our lives- KidO. You might remember them, they had a very cool shop in the West Village but are now wholesalers so ALL of us get to sell their cool toys. Their products and philosophy are based on the Montessori Education Principles (more info on Maria Montessori, one of the first female physicians in Italy & her ideology here). From our perspective (and Kido’s-here in italics) these wonderful games, blocks and toys “are well made and have some educational or imaginative component, following the teaching that a few, lasting toys with a multitude of uses and possibilities are much better for a child than a huge, and potentially overwhelming selection of toys.” Check out the Block Sets- $40- $60, Puzzles $14, Stacking/nesting sets $12 and their famous Bilibo- $30.
